Frequently asked questions

You can find assessment forms, parts lists, user manuals, and brochures in two places:

  • Product-Specific Downloads: Visit any individual product page and click the Documents & Downloads tab for files relevant to that item.
  • Full Catalogue: Click the Document Library tab to browse and search downloads across our entire product range.

Ordering compatible accessories is a simple two-step process:

  1. Request your tailored accessory list

Email your pushchair serial number(s) to info@tendercareltd.com. We will reply with a list of compatible accessories, including photos and pricing.

Unsure where to find these? See our How do I find out my pushchair serial number/numbers? FAQ.
  2. Submit your order forms

Download the Order Form and VAT Exemption Form from our Document Library (click the "Forms For Private Purchasers" tab to find them instantly). Fill them in and email them to orders@tendercareltd.com.

Unsure about VAT? See our "Am I VAT exempt?" FAQ.

Prefer pen and paper? You can print the forms, complete them by hand, and email us clear photos or scans of each page.

Yes, our products are eligible for VAT exemption. Because our pushchairs, seating systems, and car seats are specifically designed for individuals with additional needs, they qualify for 0% VAT under UK tax rules.

To claim VAT exemption, please follow the guidance for your purchasing type:

  • Private Purchasers

Complete both an Order Form and a VAT Exemption Form (available to download from our Document Library).

Important: Payment must be made from a private bank account, not a business account.
  • Registered Charities

Complete our combined Charity Order & VAT Exemption Form from our Document Library. Alternatively, if you have your own official charity VAT exemption certificate, you may provide that alongside your registered charity number.

We don’t use a standard web checkout because our products are specialist and custom-made. Ordering directly through our team ensures you get the exact right setup and savings:

  • VAT Relief Processing: We collect your completed VAT exemption form beforehand so eligible customers don't pay tax.
  • Custom Compatibility: Sizes and configurations vary per user, which affects which specific accessories will fit your equipment.
  • Serial Number Verification: Checking your serial number prior to ordering guarantees that every part ordered is 100% compatible with your exact model.

Your pushchair will have either 1 or 2 serial numbers, depending on the model:

  • 1 x Serial Number: Snazzi and Swifty
  • 2 x Serial Numbers: Snappi, Snappi Cloud, Snappi Swirl, and Cloud

Where to find them: Refer to the diagrams in your user manual for exact serial number locations on your model.

We’ve partnered with AJM Choice to provide nationwide assessments and trials for our specialist car seats.

How to arrange a trial:

  1. Get in touch with AJM Choice directly to discuss your child's specific needs.
  2. Their specialist team will arrange a trial and clinical assessment to ensure the seat is appropriate for your family.

Contact AJM Choice:

Yes, when configured in a forward-facing position. Our pushchairs are successfully crash-tested to ISO 7176-19 standards for safe occupant transport in wheelchair-adapted vehicles.

Important Safety Guidelines:

  • Forward-Facing Only: Only forward-facing pushchairs are crash-tested and approved. Rearward (parent-facing) configurations are NOT crash-tested and cannot be used in transport.
  • Read the Manual: You MUST review the dedicated transport instructions in your user manual before travelling with your pushchair in a vehicle.

No, our pushchairs cannot be joined together to form a double pushchair.

However, many third-party universal sibling seats (such as the Roma Uptown Rider) feature universal fixings and can be attached to our frames.

Important checks before using a sibling seat:

  • Child suitability: Ensure the sibling meets the seat’s age, weight, and developmental requirements (e.g., sitting up unaided).
  • Primary user comfort: Check that the added seat doesn't restrict the main user's position or limit features like tilt and recline.
  • Maneuverability: Consider how the attachment affects practical use, such as increasing overall pushchair width or altering steering.
