The Daisy Garland Charity
Set up and registered in 2004 in memory of their daughter Daisy, who died in her sleep from SUDEP, the Daisy Garland is a children’s charity which provides proactive support for some of the 18,000 children in the UK (and their families) who suffer from drug resistant epilepsy. Their two main projects are:
Funding Daisy Garland Ketogenic Dietitians. Over the past 12 years, they have funded 14 Daisy Garland Ketogenic Dietitians, who are successfully treating children with difficult to control epilepsy on the ketogenic diet. Their dietitians work within the NHS countrywide - Plymouth, Exeter x2, Bristol, London x 3, Oxford x 2, Nottingham, Derby, Manchester, Glasgow and more recently Edinburgh.
Funding night-time breathing (SATs/epilepsy) monitors for use in the home. In the last 5 years, they have funded 335 monitors, which reduce the risk of SUDEP, helping to keep these children safe at night.

The DLF is a charity who offer free and impartial advice about daily living equipment and assistive technology. Peeps
Peeps is a charity "dedicated to supporting those affected by HIE (hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy) by providing information (such as via parent packs for those in neonatal intensive care units), signposting to other charities/support groups, organising activities, peer support, funding for equipment, counselling etc. Put simply, the aims of Peeps are to support parents and families affected by HIE, and to raise awareness of HIE and its potential implications for the family."
